The 2nd Annual Vermont Web Marketing Summit kicks it up a notch

Vermont‘s 2nd Annual Web Marketing Summit, will be held at Burlington’s Main Street Landing on Thursday November 3, 2011. Organized and sponsored by Curve Trends Marketing, South Burlington’s full service digital marketing agency, this year’s Summit digs deeper into the finer points. Attendees will learn how to get the most out of implementing a mix of multi-channel, advertising and newer media into successful online marketing strategies.

The day starts with a keynote “The State of the Art Digital Marketing” presented by Robin Kamen, General Manager, Interactive at Seventh Generation, Inc. Two tracks follow the keynote: one looks at improving inbound and outbound strategies, the other examines social media metrics, web analytics, multi-channel marketing and balancing website aesthetics with business goals. This year’s speakers include Kipp Bodnar of Hubspot, Joe Mescher of Dealer.com, and Andrew Edwards of the Web Analytics Association.

The Summit stimulates small and medium-sized businesses, Non-Profits, and sole proprietors to keep up to speed with the evolution of online marketing – beyond the basics. Attendees will learn how, when and where to focus their marketing energies online and gain the best tools and practices to measure their efforts.

“The wow-factor is bigger this year. Last year, we featured local web experts; this year, the Summit will add to the knowledge base with a panel of pundits from the national arena and some advanced topics,” said Bibi Mukherjee, founder of Curve Trends Marketing.

Also new this year is a call to sponsors. Mukherjee has opened up the event to local sponsors, who will gain multi-industry exposure.

The Summit (fueled by ideas from national events like SMX, where Mukherjee is speaking this year as a panelist), SES and SXSW, is also an ultimate local networking platform for businesses investing on the web. Networking is still the lifeblood of the Internet. Attendees will have ample time to connect and share knowledge and opportunities. Personal growth, business development, enthusiasm and fun are the results.
